My story is out at Nanoism. It's 140 characters including spaces (not 140 words like I said in the previous post), below is the screenshot. (I know I am going overboard here but hey it's my blog :D)

  1. Its so sad when couple gets divorced even before the last piece of cake has been eaten.Or, more likely in Mizoram, before the vawksa rep is finished.

  2. Congrats, ambs. Succinct, minimal, twisted end. I like.

  3. daniel - Rightly said. Short attention spans, maybe? Or just not committed enough?

Jay - Thanks. I was thinking, why don't you also submit your stories? I just know you would be great.

    Mimi - Thank you!!

  5. A modern take on a Miz Havisham situation? I like it, made me think of all kinds of scenarios (death, green card marriage, disastrous wedding night).

  6. Kim - I don't know, maybe you will, maybe not, I don't know. Time will tell.

kuku - Like you said, it can have different interpretations. A Miz Havisham if you like (the desertion, the brokenheartedness), a divorce/broken marriage like daniel said up there, but I like to believe the story is at that point where the glitter and excitement of being a newlywed has faded and life is back to its normal ordinariness.
