Happy New Year

New year, new beginnings. So I went and changed my blog title. The old one was becoming boring, it was unoriginal and … stale, and was getting on my nerves a bit. But that doesn’t imply the new one here is refreshing, or original, or unique, or is here to stay. Lord knows there are millions out there who might have used the same thing, but I think that just makes me one of a kind, right? (What kind, I ask myself. The lunatic kind? The deranged, nonsensical, illogical kind? The ridiculously absurd kind?)

Whatever it is, it’s a brand new year, let’s be thankful that we are alive, and hope for a great and successful year.

Cheers.

By the way, I’m not making any resolutions. I have resolved (many New Years ago) not to make any more resolutions because I never keep them anyway. And here I am keeping that resolution and not making any new ones because I know I will end up not keeping them again and will feel guilty the rest of the year so let me hold on to this one.

(I almost wrote something in the lines of – wishing you a happy and prosperous new year…- and all that rot- but I didn’t want to sound like a greeting card)

  2. hey don't blame me it was my weekly bath-day and if you had waited another ten minutes we would have met. Next time I come home I will roll out the red carpet for you, ok?

  5. mesjay-seriously, I am tired of greeting cards and their flowery prose. If I ever have to send a card I would much rather buy a blank one and fill it up myself.

Anyways-Happy New Year to you too.
